The ISAE Supaero campus located in Toulouse holds 1900 students and 600 permanent staff. The Space Advanced Concepts research group (SaCLaB), in the Department of Design and Control of Aerospace vehicles (DCAS) carries out research activities related to space access and exploration. Liquid rocket engines combustion chamber modelling and design is a central research topic for the group. The group has an expertise covering both high-fidelity numerical simulations of reactive high-pressure flow, low order models and surrogate models for injector and chamber design.
