Dr. Timofei Sukhodolov

Dr. Timofei Sukhodolov is Head of the Climate Group at the Physical-Meteorological Observatory Davos (PMOD/WRC, Davos, Switzerland) and principal developer of the SOCOL atmosphere–ocean–aerosol–chemistry–climate model. His research focuses on chemistry–climate interactions, stratospheric dynamics, ozone–climate feedbacks, and climate intervention modelling. He has led multiple international modelling efforts and contributed extensively to simulations of volcanic eruptions and stratospheric aerosol injection scenarios. In BOKU-Met Vienna, he was responsible for several teaching modules in the fields of atmospheric physics and chemistry.
