Dr. Timofei Sukhodolov recently be-came the new head of the climate group at PMOD, Davos. He specializes in the fields of chemistry-climate modelling and the effects of natural and anthropogenic forcing on the middle atmosphere and the ozone layer and their feedbacks with climate. TS is the PI of the SOCOLv4 model, which participates in several multi-model communities that are important for the project (e.g., CCMI-2 and ISA-MIP). TS supervised several bachelor (2) and master (6) students, co-supervised (1) and is supervising PhD students (3). In BOKU-Met Vienna, he was responsible for several teach-ing modules. In 2016, TS has been awarded a silver medal of ETH Zurich for the outstanding PhD thesis. He is an author of more than 60 publications and 3 book chapters (h-index 16, >750 citations). Jan Sedlacek (JS) is a senior scientist working at PMOD, who has extensive climate modelling expertise. During the IPCC AR5 process he was involved in the data analysis and appeared as a contributing author of 8 chapters of all the three IPCC AR5 reports. In the project, JS will contribute to the model upgrades and analysis of the results and help the student to maintain the model code, experiments, and data.
