Theodor is a member of Christian Bach’s research group for space transportation at Technische Universität Dresden. He completed his Diploma thesis in December 2022 at TU Dresden in cooperation with CTC GmbH (an Airbus company), following two research internships with associated theses at MTU Aero Engines AG in the field of additive manufacturing. After graduating, he led several ESA-funded research projects at TU Dresden, with responsibilities including technical coordination, work package leadership, and interface management with project partners. In parallel, he served as project manager of the H2020 MSCA Doctoral Network ASCenSIon, where he was responsible for internal coordination, scheduling, organisation of network activities, and led the organisation of the final project conference until the network’s completion. Theodor is currently a research associate and pursuing a PhD at TU Dresden focusing on lunar in-situ resource utilization (ISRU), with particular emphasis on additively manufactured materials and processes for lunar landing platforms. He is also a member of the VDI Advisory Board for Aerospace Engineering (Fachbeirat Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik).
