EcoDeltaV (EDV)

EcoDeltaV is a spin-off of EPFL and the University of Stuttgart founded in November 2025 from a joint ESA FLPP research project to develop a tool for life cycle assessment of space transportation systems. The Assessment and Comparison Tool (ACT), a space-specific ecodesign and LCA tool, supports space mission and system design decisions from the early design phase on, including high altitude emission comparisons, prospective LCA analyses and reports of REACH risks.  The company offers software as a service and engineering service for LCA.

As part of SLICE, the ACT tool will be made available to doctoral students to support them in their work and offer trainings.
