Dr-HdR Eleonore Riber graduated from ENSEEIHT in 2003 and obtained her PhD from the Institut National Polytechnique of Toulouse in 2007, following research conducted at IMFT on two-phase flow modeling. After a one-year research appointment at IFPEN, she joined CERFACS in 2008.

Her research activities center on the modeling and Large Eddy Simulation of reacting turbulent flows in complex geometries on massively parallel computing architectures. She has developed recognized expertise in turbulent flows, spray combustion, reduced chemistry modeling and pollutant formation, with current applications directed toward energy transition challenges, notably alternative fuels for aeronautical and marine propulsion.

Dr. Riber has authored or co-authored over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals. She has coordinated multiple national and European research projects and has supervised more than 20 doctoral candidates.
