Dr. Guillaume Daviller

Dr.-HdR Guillaume Daviller is a research scientist at CERFACS since 2016. He earned his PhD in Fluid Mechanics from ISAE-ENSMA in 2010, then spent four years as a postdoctoral fellow at the Prime Institute (CNRS Poitiers) and CERFACS. In 2015, he joined IMFT (Toulouse) as a CNRS research scientist, contributing to the INTECOCIS ERC grant.
His research focuses on turbulence, aeroacoustics, and the simulation of unsteady compressible flows. He is recognized as an expert in compressible and nozzle flows, working closely with CNES and ArianeGroup. In addition, he has extensive expertise in High-Performance Computing and aerodynamic flows involving complex geometries.
His current projects explore numerical methods, turbulent flow modeling, aeroacoustics in turbomachinery, and combustion-related noise. Dr. Daviller has authored more than 50 international journal articles and book chapters (h-index 14). He is actively engaged in mentoring, currently supervising five PhD candidates. Over his career, he has guided 11 PhD students to completion and supervised 10 postdoctoral fellows.
